Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of packing, moving, transportation, storage, and related relocation services offered by Aarav International JSR Packers and Movers (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India.

By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

We provide domestic packing and moving services within India, including but not limited to:

• Household / home shifting
• Office relocation
• Packing and unpacking
• Loading and unloading
• Vehicle transportation (as available)
• Storage / warehousing solutions (as available)

Service availability may vary by location, date, and shipment type. Final service details will be confirmed in your quotation or booking communication.

3. Quotations and Booking

Quotations are estimates based on the information you provide (origin, destination, volume/items, access conditions, and service type). A quotation is not a confirmed booking until accepted by both parties and, where required, an advance payment is received.

We may revise a quotation if the actual inventory, floor access, packing requirements, or moving conditions differ from the details originally shared.

4. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate contact details, addresses, and inventory information
• Declare fragile, valuable, hazardous, or restricted items in advance
• Ensure premises access, parking permission, and lift/gate availability where required
• Be present (or authorize a representative) at origin and destination during pickup and delivery
• Remove cash, jewellery, important documents, and highly personal items from the shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing

5. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not carry:

• Illegal goods, explosives, firearms, or hazardous chemicals
• Perishable items, plants, or live animals
• Cash, bullion, jewellery, stamps, or negotiable instruments
• Items prohibited under applicable Indian laws

You are responsible for any loss, penalty, or claim arising from undeclared prohibited items.

6. Packing, Handling, and Transit

We take reasonable care in packing, loading, transporting, and unloading goods using standard industry practices. Transit timelines are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, strikes, vehicle issues, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

7. Payments

Charges are as per the accepted quotation and any approved extras (additional packing material, stair carry, long carry, waiting time, storage, dismantling/reassembly, etc.).

Unless otherwise agreed, balances are payable before or at the time of delivery. We reserve the right to withhold delivery until outstanding dues are cleared.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible. Charges may apply for costs already incurred (packing material, labour allocation, vehicle booking, or storage). Exact cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of booking.

9. Liability and Claims

We are not liable for:

• Damage caused by improper packing done by the customer
• Normal wear and tear, mechanical/electrical internal defects, or pre-existing damage
• Loss arising from inaccurate inventory or incomplete instructions
• Delays or damage caused by force majeure or third-party events beyond our control

Any visible damage or shortage must be reported at delivery or within a reasonable time as communicated in your booking terms. Claims may require inspection and supporting details.

Where transit insurance or additional protection is arranged, coverage will follow the insurer’s or agreed policy terms.

10. Storage

If storage is requested, goods are held subject to available capacity and storage charges. Unclaimed goods beyond the agreed period may attract additional fees and may be handled as permitted under applicable law and prior notice.

11. Website Use

Content on our website is for general information. While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that website content is always complete or error-free. Unauthorized scraping, misuse, or interference with the website is prohibited.

12. Privacy

Personal information collected for quotes and services is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
